A Donation Drive for China disaster relief by CCCS is underway.  A powerful 7.9 earthquake shook Si-Chuan Province in China on May 12th, and literally leveled thousands of buildings and killed more than 15,000 people. The death toll is still increasing each day. CCCS is organizing a donation drive to contribute to the many relief funds in the Bay Area for the earthquake victims in China. Organizations such as World Vision, Sing Tao Daily, World Journal, Che- Zi Foundation are all currently raising money for disaster relief. CCCS administration would like to encourage all family to donate any amount of money you can to this worthy cause. The donation fund will be placed and delivered to those families who suffered and/or survived from this tragedy.

"Chinese Idol" Singing and Comedy contest was a great success with more than 50 students and their parents participated in the event. The audience had certainly enjoyed the show and was amazed by the Chinese singing and poetry recital talents of the participants.

On Saturday 5/3/08, our school's online registration for the year 2008-2009 was officially launched. Paper registration will continue to be accepted from 1 PM to 3:50 PM in Room LA112 on 8/23/08, 9/06/08 and 9/13/08 or via the postal service. Registration by Mail must be received by August 15, 2008.
